Passed suddenly away on August 23, 2008 age 55 years. Predeceased by father Douglas, sister Jackie and brother-in-law Junior Maher. Left to treasure his memory, wife Gail (Thistle) and son Jonathan, mother Shirley, brother Doug (Carley), sisters Brenda, Ida (Don), Donna (Paul) and mother and father-in-law David and Elizabeth Thistle and sister-in-law Margo (Larry) as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
