David Bungay, 59, of Sydney passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009, at the Halifax Infirmary.
He was the son of the late Raymond and Jessie (Hardy) Bungay.
David was a member of Christ Church and was retired from EDS. He was a graduate of St. FX University, Antigonish, in May 1973.
David is survived by his brother, Raymond (Carolyn), Saint John; niece, Janice Bungay, Ottawa; nephews, Arthur (Heather) Bungay, Saint John, Donald (Chris) Bungay, Little Hocking, Ohio, USA; and several great nephews and a great niece. Special thanks to Bryan (Diane) MacDonald for all of their help and assistance over the years.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sydney Memorial Chapel with Rev. Fred Rhymes officiating.
