Allistair Cameron MacPherson, 75, of MacLellan’s Brook, passed away March 14, 2009, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Hugh and Alexandra (Sutherland) MacPherson.
Allistair was a longtime resident of MacLellan’s Brook. He worked as a farmer and lumberman for many years. Allistair was an avid golfer and was a member of the Abercrombie Golf and Country Club. Allistair had a large number of friends who remember him for his easy going kind nature and quick wit.
He is survived by a cousin, Sandy (Carolyn) Patterson, Truro.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at the request of the deceased. Burial will take place at a later date in Castle Hill Cemetery, MacLellan’s Brook.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society.
