Peacefully, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton on Sunday March 15th, 2009 with the love and support of his loving wife and family of George Alfred Yeo of Elmsdale age 66 years. Beloved husband of Eleanor nee Adams Yeo. Born at Harmony Road on December 5, 1942 he was the son of the late Alfred and Laura Annie nee Bridges Yeo. Cherished father to Karen O’Brien, of Cascumpec; Susan (Walter) Yeo Davison,of Elmsdale; Janet Yeo, of Alberton; Calvin Yeo of Elmsdale. Loving grandfather to B. J. and Yolanda Gallant, Devon and Chanselyn O’Brien and Denise Davison. Also loving grandfather to Kaitlin, Ashley and Tyler Smallman. Dear brother to Eunice Schmalenberg of Guelph. Ont.; Erma (Gary) Oldfield of Elmira, Ont.; Lorrean (Ron) Kwiatkowski of Slemon Park; Eustace of Alberton; Earl (Maureen) of Moorefield, Ont.; Benny (Norma) of Guelph, Ont.; Dale (Janet) of Alberton; Clinton (Susan) of Ganonoque, Ont.; Mary Bridges of Guelph, Ont.; Judy (Bill) Damaren of Alma, Ont.; Marilyn (Wayne) Perry of Guelph, Ont; Freddie (Chris) of Arthur, Ont. He is also survivied by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Everett (Dolly) Adams of Elmsdale; Lois Bridges of Summerside; Dorothy (Harvey) Butler of Miminegash; Gerald (Sandra) Adams of Elmsdale; Wilma (Rick) Payne of Alberton; Thelma (Willard) Blanchard of St. Louis; Earl (Pauline) Adams of Elmsdale. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Laura Annie Yeo, his father- and mother-in-law Charles and Etta Adams, two brothers David Yeo, and Gordon Yeo and by a brother-in-law Junior Adams. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday March 18th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday morning March 19th, from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Sheila McCrea-MacCallum officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials in George’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Palliative Care unit of the Western Hospital or to the Church of the Nazarene Cemetery fund, and would be gratefully appreciated.
