The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Saturday, March 14, 2009, of Mairi Gosse, of Craig Avenue, Summerside, and Chapel Arm, NL, aged 83 years. Born in Oban, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (MacKinnon) MacDougall. Survived by her husband Kenneth; children Danny (Carol), Rick (Jennifer), Heather (Cyril) Penton, Lorna (Bill) Guppy, Ian (Jeanne), John and Sheila (Michel) Ouellet; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Smith, England; and by a brother Danny MacDougall, Scotland. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, where funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m.. Interment later in Newfoundland.
