Jeanette (Thibodeau) Blanche, 70, of Ottawa, formerly of Amherst, passed away March 5, 2009 after a brief illness. Jeanette was the daughter of the late Fred and Arzelie (Landry) Thibodeau of Amherst. She is survived by daughters Phyllis Ann (Joe) Haverstock, Kentville; Kathleen (Mike) Sullivan, Ottawa; son Bill (Kim) Blanche, Ottawa; grandchildren, Charlotte and Matthew Haverstock; Ailis Sullivan and Emma and Liam Blanche. Also surviving are sisters Phyllis (Rod) Cameron, Amherst; Emilie (Jerry) Hohman, Jackville, Florida; Susan Thibodeau, Amherst; brothers, David (Debbie) Thibodeau, Bible Hill and Ed Thibodeau, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband Barry in 1999. A funeral service was held in Ottawa on Monday, March 9, with many family and friends attending. Cremation has taken place, with burial in Amherst at a later date. She will be sorrowfully missed by many family and friends in both Ottawa and Amherst.
