The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, of Mrs. Erma A. Ferris (nee Houston), formerly of Hazel Grove, age 105 years. Beloved wife of the late W. Ray Ferris. Dear mother of Esther (Carl) Robinson of Searletown. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by daughter Audrey Parkman of Fredericton, sisters and brothers Margaret, John, Edith, Ernest, Ada, Gertrude, Grace, Hazel, Lorne, Russell and Jean. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Interment at a later date in the family plot in the Fredericton Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre, Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
