Passed away suddenly on Cougar Flight 491 on March 12, 2009, Corey Eddy, 32, of Paradise (formerly of Sibley's Cove). He leaves to mourn, his wife, Karen (nee Cooper) and precious son Lucas; parents: Stephen and Carol Eddy; brother, Rodney (Michelle) and grandparents: Sterling & Elizabeth Hopkins. Also leaving to mourn, parents-in-law: Howard & Christine Cooper; sisters-in-law: Joanne (Shawn) Kelly and Julie (Rodney) Marsh; grandmother-in-law, Nina Cooper and nephews: Matthew, Andrew and Owen. In addition, Corey leaves a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican with visitation on Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Bethel United Church and Cemetery, Sibley’s Cove.
