Sheldon D. “Shel” Belter, 47 of Naperville, IL, died March 13, 2009, at Edward Hospital in Naperville after a brief illness. He was born March 12, 1962, in Swift Current, SK. Sheldon was an accountant with Nalco in Naperville. He is survived by his wife Kathy (nee Spence) Belter, a son Mitchell and a daughter Danielle, all of Naperville; his father Clifford Belter of Herbert, SK; and his brother Michael (Fay) Belter of Surrey, BC. He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth (nee Wiebe) Belter. A memorial service in Saskatchewan is being planned for the summer 2009.
