Peacefully, with her two sons by her side, at Riverview Manor, Montague on Friday, March 20, 2009, of Florence Mae Buchanan (nee Parker) of Roseneath, age 88 years. Wife of the late Cecil Buchanan. Dear mother of Raymond and Parker, both of Roseneath. Loving grandmother of Wallie (Carol Ann) Buchanan. Cherished great-grandmother of Kristen and Jenna Buchanan and Stephen MacDonald. Also survived by nieces Bessie Arsenault, Florence McCarron and nephews Charlie MacDonald, Gary and Terry Parker. Predeceased by her son, Donald, sister Mary MacDonald, brother John, sister-in-law Nellie Parker, and brother-in-law Colin MacDonald. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment later in the St. Andrew’s Church Cemetery, Cardigan.
