Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday March 21, 2009 in his 75th year. Predeceased by his parents Philip and Nora Hynes and brothers Gerald and Dermot. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 51 years Vera (nee Dwyer), sons Don (Debbie) and Glenn (Nicole). Precious grandchildren Jared, Sydney and Liam. Brother Philip Hynes (Effie), sister Mary Nugent (Richard). Brothers-in-law Kevin (Mary), Brendan (Marie), Ken (Trudy), Paul (Kathy), Dave (Janette). Sisters-in-law Kay Auiler, Bobbi Corbett (Steve), Kay Dwyer, Dora Dwyer. Nieces, nephews as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation in the James J Hickey Memorial Funeral Home Kelligrews on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral mass in St. Edward’s Church, Kelligrews on Wednesday , March 25, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Lukes Home.
