Tom passed away on March 19, 2009 at Mont St. Joseph’s at the age of 91. Dad was born in Fishing Lake, SK and lived most of his life in Prince Albert as well as Calgary, AB. He was a very hard worker all of his life. He worked for Tru-Mix Concrete in PA and Alpine Drywall in Calgary. Dad always loved to laugh, tease and visit with friends and relatives. He went to live at Mont St. Joseph’s in 2007, where he enjoyed his time there and had many friends, especially his good friend Robert, and he always loved the staff, which he included in his friends as well. Always said “they take good care of me here”. He leaves to mourn two daughters Shirley and Marlene; his grandchildren Janet, Debbie, Lori, Annette, Shawn, Conrad, Bonnie, Eldon, Rhonda, Rena and Chad; his 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his wife of 60 years Elizabeth; his parents Damase and Sarah Carriere; his son Gerald; his daughter Lorraine; 2 grandsons Clifford and Ronald; 2 sons-in-law Clifford and Eddie; his sister Bella and his brothers Joseph, Arthur, Fred, Mike, Frank and Dave. Public Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. with Graveside Service to follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of SK, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8 or Alzheimer Association of SK, 301 – 2550 – 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
