GRAHAM
Robert Thomas (Tom) Graham of Marquis passed away suddenly on Sunday March 22, 2009. Tom was born May 31, 1926 in Moose Jaw and grew up on a farm in the Drinkwater area. He joined the Army as a very young man, taking training in Ontario and British Columbia, just before World War II ended. Tom returned to the family farm at Drinkwater. In 1947 he bought farm land in the Burdick area and in 1949 married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Bea) Manson. In 1952 they moved to the farm at Marquis where Tom actively farmed until 2008. He was an excellent farmer. His love for farming was reflected in his wonderful crops and the care of his farm yard. Tom was always a hard worker and so loved farming, animals, and his family, especially his grandsons. He will be missed immensely by daughter Wendy Robbins and his two grandsons Kyle and Clint Robbins, and very special friend John Ogle; and first cousins Eileen and Doug Bates and their family. Tom was predeceased by his wife Bea (2006), his parents Dill and Vinetta Graham, and his brother Dean. A Celebration of Tom’s life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday March 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Reverend David Moore will officiate. Memorialization will take place at Sunset Cemetery at a later date. Memorials to the Arthritis Society, 110 – 2550 12th Ave., Regina, S4P 3X1, would be appreciated. In living memory of Tom, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Please sign the memorial register book at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (Obituaries).
