Jane Ellen Tait , passed away peacefully March 22, 2009 at the age of 97 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Doreen “Dean” Cobbe; grandchildren Janice (Lloyd) Turner, and Marty (Joyce) Macdiarmid; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held at Grandview United Church, 722 10th Ave. S.W., on Friday March 27, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Glennys Grosenick will officiate. Interment will take place at the Blue Hill Cemetery in the spring. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday evening, 7-8 p.m. at the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 106 Athabasca St. E. Memorials to Grandview United Church would be appreciated. In living memory of Jane, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
