Passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, age 68 years. Predeceased by his wife of 36 years, Carol; parents William and Nora Stevenson, mother and father-in-law James and Lucy Grouchy; brothers: Egbert Stevenson and Alfred Stevenson; brothers-in-law Butch Lee, Fred Jackson Sr., James Grouchy, Francis Grouchy and sister-in-law Angela Jackson. Leaving to mourn his loss: son Edward (daughter-in-law Joanne) and daughter Deborah Stevenson; special nephews Craig Jackson (Renee, Craig and Tyler), Fred Jackson (Beatrice, Stephanie, Melissa, Jillian, Nicola and Carmen); sisters: Bertha Lee and Elizabeth (Charlie Lampkin); brothers: Bob Stevenson (Margie), Gary Stevenson (Barb), Fred Stevenson and special brother and best friend Walter; sisters-in-law: Daphne Grouchy and Louise Grouchy; special friends John and Katie Abbott; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Health Sciences Centre, Emergency Department. Resting at CaulFuneral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, March 27th at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church.
