Predeceased by his wife (Jean) Elizabeth Manuel; son Lloyd Manuel. Leaving to mourn are his sons Bill and David Manuel; daughters Maxine Stoyles, Carol Hart and Cathy Manuel; brother Baxter Manuel; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and then on Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to be held from George Street United Church on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
