Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre, Mary Edna O'Neill, age 54 years. Predeceased by her parents William and Olive O'Neill. Leaving to mourn her son Mark and his father Lorne Combden, St. John's; one sister Betty Campbell (Rob), St. John's; four brothers: Reg (Paula), Hr. Grace, Ed, St. John's, Paul, Wakefield, QC, Adrian (Vita), Lefroy, ON; special friend Paula Tapper, Torbay; her co-workers at Cox and Palmer Law Firm, especially Sandra Chaytor; as well as many other relatives and friends. As per Mary's request cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Church services, as per Mary's wishes, will be private to the family and the people of Port Kirwan, Fermeuse and surrounding area. Church service will take place at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Port Kirwan at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
