Passed away peacefully at Glenbrook Lodge on Thursday, March 26, 2009, Mary C. Ryan in her 89th year. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, her sister Irene Tobin, St. Vincent's; special nieces and nephews: Alice Gibbons, Betty Melvin (Ed), Mary Maloney, Donna Chislett (Ken), Lousie Brennan (Gerry), Barbara Layman, Sylvia Butt, Marion Fagan, Fr. Joe Barton, Vince Barton (Barbara), Tony Barton (Carol Anne), Bernard Tobin (Paula), Frank Ryan (Laurie), Leo Young, many great-nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends, especially her friends and caregivers at Glenbrook Lodge to whom we are very grateful. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Mary Ryan, St. Joseph's; brothers: Frank (Theresa) and Leo; sisters: Bessie Barton (Vince), Sr. Mary Josephine, Alice, Ellen, Genevieve; and brothers-in law Michael Tobin and Vince Barton; niece Ann Barton, nephews Aloysius and Mario Barton; and great-niece Sheena Barton. Resting at Enright Memorial Chapel, St. Joseph’s (Church), Salmonier, on Friday, March 27, 2009, from 11am - 5pm; 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 28, 2009, from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church.
