Predeceased by his wife Jean (nee Tucker) and son Lloyd Manuel. Leaving to mourn are his children: Bill (Sharon), Maxine (Sheldon), Carol (Doug), Cathy and David; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother Baxter Manuel (Debbie); also a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and Friday. Funeral service to be held from George Street United Church on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
