Peacefully, at the Margaret Ellis Stewart Home, O\'Leary on Sunday, March 29, 2009 of Jean Amy Johnson beloved wife of the late Morris Johnson, formerly of Alberton, age 84 years. Born in Alberton on May 23, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Stanton and Thelma (Nee Wilkie) Clark. Lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters, Donald and his wife Nicole of Moncton, N.B., Paul and his wife Darlene of St. Eleanor’s, Beryl and her husband Ralph Cooke of Cape Wolfe, Jacquelin and her husband Dale Hudson of Brooklyn. Dear grandmother to Terry Dekker, Kelly Johnson, Jeanne Clements, Ashley Enman, Alex Locke, Sherri-Dawn Jeffery, Kent Cooke, Kirk Cooke, Natasha Johnson and Nathan Johnson. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren, Hannah Dekker, Madeline Gallant, Jack Gallant, Anthony Clements, Krista Jeffery, Nathan Jeffery, Nolan Jeffery and Faith Jeffery. She is also survived by an uncle Alvin and his wife Goldie Wilkie of Summerside and by an aunt Laura Ashley of Maplewood Manor, Alberton. She was predeceased by her husband Morris, parents Stanton and Thelma Clark and by a sister Norma in infancy. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday morning from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Sheila McCrea-MacCallum officiating. Interment later in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Hillcrest Cemetery fund would be gratefully appreciated.
