A long time resident of Gander, passed away at the Health Sciences Center, St. John's, on Thursday, September 4, 2008, aged 94 years. Predeceased by husband Clifford, brother Fred Rideout, sisters Pearl Legge and Lily Sweetland. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughter Elizabeth (Tom) Bursey of St. Phillip's, grandson Robert (Brenda) Bursey of St. John's, granddaughter Irene (Ken) Abbott of St. Philip's; great-grandchildren: Stephanie and Nicole Bursey, Cole and Kristen Abbott; brother Clayton Rideout of Corner Brook; sister Annie Moores of Corner Brook, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander with visitations Friday 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Funeral service Saturday, September 6th at 12:00 noon from St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral, Gander.
