Nathaniel George–Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Sunday, March 29, 2009, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Power) in 1991 and sister Jean (Dick) Kent. Leaving to mourn three daughters: Eileen, Lorraine (Ross) and Mary Margaret; four sons: Cyril (Gail), Fred (Judy), Gerald and Randell (Pam); sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren; devoted brother Johnny (Inez) Gear and their family and three sisters and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the United Church, Bell Island. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
