At the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 29, 2009, of Arlene Marie (nee Whelan) Lefurgey, Charlottetown, age 50 years. Beloved wife of Nial. Dear mother of Matthew and Mary Ellen. Predeceased by her parents, Basil and Lillian “Ninnie” (Morrissey) Whelan. Stepdaughter of Susan Whelan. Sister of Walter Whelan (Marilyn), Jim Whelan (Angela), Pauline Bassett (Barry), Patsy Noonan (Ivan) and Gerard Whelan. Special cousin of Giselle MacKinnon (Finton). Daughter-in-law of Ross and Joan Lefurgey. Sister- in-law of Shane Lefurgey (Janet) and Garth Lefurgey (Jennifer). Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Michael, Tracey and Lindsay Whelan, Mark, Colin and Adam Bassett, Patrick Noonan, Garrett, Justin, Brett, Abiline and Marshall Whelan, Jonathan and Amanda Lefurgey and Bryson and Denika Lefurgey. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 9:40, then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment at a later date. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
