1944-2008. It is with great sadness that the family of the late R. G. Bud Thomas announce his passing at the CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor on August 15, 2008 at the age of 64. Bud was retired from R. G. Trucking. He is predeceased by his parents George and Mabel Thomas and sister Paddy Boone. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Jean, son; Mike (Jennifer) of Bishop's Falls, daughters; Michelle Thomas (Gary) of Bishop's Falls and Melanie Hancock (Wade) of Botwood. Sister Sylvia (husband John Potter) of Cupids; Brother Wayne (wife Frances) of Grand Falls-Windsor; Sister Beverly (husband late Jaye Butler) of Grand Falls-Windsor; Brother-In-Law Wallace Boone of Paradise; Brother Brian (wife Mary) of Grand Falls-Windsor; Special Brother Rusty Holloway (wife Iris) of Ottawa, ON Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren Stephen and David Thomas, and Meaghan Hancock, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Rev. Elizabeth Stewart conducted the funeral service at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Bishop's Falls on August 18, 2008. Interment was at the United Church, Bishop's Falls Cemetery.
