Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent, March 31, 2009, Sister Mary Fabian Hennebury, age 92 years. Predeceased by parents John and Mary Julia (Nugent) Hennebury of Bonavista and her brothers Mark, Father Bill, John, Gerald and Felix and sisters Sister Mary Mark, RSM, Angela Johnson, infant Mary Veronica and nephew Aiden Hennebury. Leaving to mourn her Religious Congregation the Sisters of Mercy; her sister-in-law Alena Hennebury (Gary, Indiana), many devoted and attentive nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends, especially the nursing profession. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s on Wednesday, April 1, 009 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 2, 2009 until 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 3 2009, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery.
