Passed away suddenly at Outer Cove on Monday, March 30, 2009, John William (Bill) Kennedy of Outer Cove, aged 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, brothers: Edward and George, sister Bernadette and granddaughter Jacqueline. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 50 years Mary, son John (Rita); daughter Anne Marie Lewis (Bob); grandchildren: Cara, Connie, Maria, Sean and Brian; sisters: Helen Feehan, Catherine Hanlon and Margaret Cole; brothers; Joe (Maureen) and Father Patrick Kennedy; brother-in-law David Freemantle; sisters-in-law: Annie Gosse and Magdalene Griffin; numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church. Cremation to follow. Interment at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery Fund or the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
