The death occurred suddenly on March 17, 2009, in Costa Rica of John MacCormac, age 64, Terrace, B.C. John is survived by his loving family: wife, Diane; sons, Daniel, Dylan and Iaian (Kris); and granddaughter, Piper. John will be sadly missed by his beloved mother, Mary (nee MacAulay, formerly of Cardigan); sisters, Gwen Watson (John), Brudenell, P.E.I.; Helen, Gerarda (Bill); brothers, Jerry (Lorraine), Billy (Marlene) and Ronnie (Penny); and uncle, Joe MacAulay (Cardigan); his nieces, nephews and cousins on P.E.I. He was predeceased by his father, John and sister, Joan (John). Funeral mass was celebrated on March 27 at Sacred Heart Church in Terrace, B.C. A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony's Church, Dartmouth, later this month.
