At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, of Mary Jean MacSwain (nee MacKinnon) of Charlottetown, age 86 years. Dear mother of Margaret Arsenault (Edward), Mary Besson (Peter), David (Mary) and Stewart (Mary). Loving grandmother of Christopher, Trevor, Sarah, Stephen, Peter, Jocelyn, Elizabeth and Katie and her three great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother, Eldon MacKinnon (Jean), and by Carol Aitken (Buddy). Sister-in-law of Vivian MacKinnon and Bernice MacKinnon. Predeceased by her husband, Sheldon MacSwain; by her brothers, Murdock, Alexander, Daniel (Gladys), Robert and Boyd; and by her sisters, Winnie Dingwell (Leith) and Tina Dingwell (Stirling). Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment later in Dundas United Church Cemetery.
