It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ida E. Park announces her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday April 1, 2009 in her 69th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter; Barbara Park (Tom Mercer) of Gillams, her sons; Tony (Kim) of Ontario, Tex (Roxy) of Ontario, Gary (Kathy) of Ontario, her sister; Bernice Wetmore (Bob) of Ontario, brothers; Noel (Mary) of Meadows, David (Judy) of Cox’s Cove, and Wayne of Meadows, her nine grandchildren; Shauna, Adrian, Anthony, Tamara, Taylore, Adam, Kelsey, Ian and Katy, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Eli in 2000, her parents; Gordon and Edith Brake, and her sisters; Eileen, Neila and Ina, and her special friend Lawrence Blanchard. Visitation will take place at St. James Anglican Church in Gillams on Friday April 3, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. James Anglican Church on Saturday April 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery Meadows. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
