The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, of Brian Abbott, of Fredericton, age 49. Brian was the son of the late Whitfield and Daisy Abbott. He was the beloved brother of Frank Abbott and Wilma Judson and brother-in-law of Linda Abbott. Brian was a devoted uncle to Lisa, Greg and Aaron Abbott and Stephen and Shane Judson; and great-uncle to Cameron, Morgan, Michael, Kayla, Curtis and Keyera. He is also survived by his aunt, Ina Darrah and many cousins. Besides his parents, Brian was predeceased by his aunts, Lena MacPhee and Alice and Doris Abbott; and his uncle, Sheldon Abbott. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Saturday, April 4, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, April 5, at 3 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.
