(March 15, 1926) Ended her earthly journey with great courage, grace and faith at Carbonear General Hospital on September 7, 2008. Predeceased by husband Jonas, brother Gordon, mother Rose Ethel Warren, and father Robert Warren. Survived by brothers Winston (Marg), Wallace (Ria), Ron (Marjorie), sister Mary Smith, children Rose Marie MacDonald (Ted), Morley (Phyllis), Don (Sandra), Caroline Reid and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also leaving a large number of nieces, nephews and many friends both in Chapel Arm and at Green Mountain Lodge in Norman's Cove. Resting at Holloway's Funeral home, Whitbourne. Visitation on September 8, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service from St. John the Baptist Church in Chapel Arm at 3 p.m. on Tuesday September 9, 2008. Interment at St. John the Baptist cemetery. No flowers by request; donations in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully accepted.
