88, Foxtrap, passed away peacefully March 31, 2009. He was employed for many years with Public Works, Argentia Naval Base as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician. In 1968 he joined Parks Canada as Maintenance Supervisor, Terra Nova National Park and retired in 1985 from Fundy National Park. His parents Edith and Edward Searle, sister Mabel, infant sons Edward George and John, grandsons Wayne, John and Andrew Searle, and former wife Anne predeceased him. He is survived by his partner of 35 years Sue Feltham, sister Ruby Snow, sons Gene (Anne), Wayne (Bernadette); daughters Ruth, Marilyn, Linda (James), Patricia and Marsha, step-daughters Marguerite (Eric), Lisa (Melvin), Helen (Paul), Geraldine (Jimmy), Cathy (John), Paulette, step-sons John (June) and Ray (Ann), as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and several great-grandchildren. Visitation at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Quigley Line, Bell Island, Friday, 3 April 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, 4 April 2009 at 2 p.m., United Church Bell Island, followed by burial at New Anglican Cemetery.
