Aged 81 years of St. James Street, Springhill, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at her residence. Born in Port Greville, Cumb. Co., she was a daughter of the Late Richard and Reta (McCully) Lambert. She is survived by Donald Bird, Stanley Bird, Ervin Bird and Albert (Donna) Bird, all of Springhill. Daughters, Claudine Bird, Deborah Bird of Ontario, Elizabeth Bird of Parrsboro, Patricia Bird of Port Hawksbury. Five Grandchildren. Several Nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald W. Bird, sons Lorne and Frederick. Brother Harry and sister Leota. Cremation has taken place and visitations were held Saturday, June 28 in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, followed immediately by a Memorial Funeral Service, with Dr. Perry Hanley officiating. Burial in Grace United Church Cemetery, Port Greville, Cumb. Co., N.S.
