Beryl Piccinin
PICCININ, Beryl (nee Anderson) – With her family beside her, Beryl left us peacefully on Monday the 7th of July, 2008, at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton, in her 56th year. She was predeceased by her parents, Omer and Juanita, and her sister Cathy. Her warmth, great strength, and sense of humour will be greatly missed. Loving wife of George and beloved mother of Andrew (Shannon), and Carolyn. She is survived by her four brothers, Lysle (Diana), Keith (Carmen), Wayne (Bernadine), and Dale (Jeanette); brother-in-law Gianni (Susan), and many loving nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins. She will be missed by many friends and colleagues at McMaster University, Life Sciences. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating her life was held at FIRST-PILGRIM UNITED CHURCH, 200 Main Street East, Hamilton, Ont., on Sunday, July 13, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Beryl wished donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton. Interment will take place in Port Elgin, N.B., in late August 2008, date pending. Many heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses and caregivers of 3 East for the compassionate care provided to Beryl while she was at St. Peters.
