It is with great sadness that the family of Blanche Irene (Carter) McPhee, 80, announces her passing on March 19, 2009. Born in Saint John, she was the only daughter of the late Thomas & Hazel (De Wolfe) Carter. Left to mourn Blanche are her five sons, Doug (Charlotte) and John (Cecile), both of Moncton, Dale (Charlotte) of Quispamsis, Robert and Kevin of Sackville; her precious grandchildren, Dawna Murray of Irishtown, Aaron and Megan of Quispamsis, Michel and Troy Belliveau of Moncton, and Mistee (Todd) MacLellan of Sackville. She was also loved by four great grandchildren, Eric and Kyle Murray, Andre Belliveau and Paige MacLellan. Besides her parents, Blanche was predeceased by her husband Arnold on December 16, 2004; her son Raymond on January 13, 1979; and an infant daughter, Maxine Joy. Blanche’s remains have been cremated under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300). A memorial service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. A committal service will be held at a later date in the Four Corner Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Arnold.
