Jolicure, N.B. - It is with great sadness we announce the death of our son, Charles Michael Berry, 48, of Jolicure, N.B. which occurred suddenly at his home on Saturday, September 29, 2007. Born on April 16, 1959 in Sackville, N.B., he was the oldest child of Wayne and Deanna (Stokes) Berry of Sackville, N.B. Charles graduated from Tantramar Regional High School and New Brunswick Community College in Bathurst in auto body repair. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his maternal grandmother Pauline (Hicks) Stokes, Sackville; parents Wayne and Deanna, Sackville; his daughter Melissa, Halifax; his son Aaron (Christine Cormier), her son Tyler, their son Jadyn, all of Sackville; his siblings Calvin (Gisele), Dieppe, Beverley, Oshawa, ON and Jo Lynne (Sherry Keating) Landry, Moncton; three nephews Justin, Alexander and Nicholas Berry and niece Samantha Landry; and special friend Michelle Twombly of Amherst. Charles was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Edsel V. Stokes; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Muriel (Fillmore) Berry. Arrangements are entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, N.B. (364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. The funeral service will take place at the Jones Funeral Home on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 3 p.m., Pastor Hugh Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
