Welcomed into the loving arms of her late husband, Thomas, of 56 years, and their young son Keith, on May 30, 2007, in her 89th year. Dearly loved mother of Henry and Betty Davis of Port Elgin, N.B., Carol and Al Priestley of Hamilton, ON., and Joan and Vic Schwaiko of Burlington, ON. She will remain forever in the hearts of her grandchildren, Beth and Dwight Trenholm, Stephen Davis (Elaine), Toby Davis (Glen), Shelley & Giulio Amodeo, Thomas and Lisa Jewett, Alicia (Corey), Lindsay (Jeff) and Brandon (Amanda) Schwaiko and precious great-grandchildren Sarah and Rebecca Trenholm, Devon and David Strang, Jesse and Kyla Davis, Madeline and Grace Amodeo, and Joshua and Brooke Jewett. Fondly remembered by Baba Schwaiko, Helen and Dave Priestley and brothers Chester and Shirley and Sheldon and Faye Trenholm and sisters' Josephine Essensa, Etta Danner, and Donna and Bob Holmes. Blanche was predeceased by her parents Grace and Herbert Trenholm and by her siblings Elizabeth, Rita, Vera, Herbie, Nina, Kenneth and Kay. Blanche was known for her sparkling eyes, beautiful smile and love of jewellery. Her loving, charismatic nature endeared her to many. Although her soul mate was Thomas, even at 88 she still enjoyed flirting with the boys. Many pleasurable hours were spent with her girls, friend Vern, grandkids and great-grandkids. Blanche was very proud of her sales skills at Sears, N.B. A special thank you to her loving and caring friends and the staff at Willowgrove LTC, where Blanche resided for the last three years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant St., (one block north of City Hall) Burlington (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 5 p.m. until time of Service of Remembrance to celebrate Blanche's life at 6 p.m. Interment will be at Fernwood Cemetery, N.B.
