Elizabeth R. Rayworth, 92, of Moncton passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 27 2007. Born in Port Elgin, N.B., on August 11, 1914, she was known as Pop to her family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor (Smith) Chapman and attended Humphrey Memorial United Church in Moncton. She is survived by a son Walter (Shelagh) of Amherst; and daughter Suzanne (Thomas) Jardine of Moncton; grandchildren, Andrew (Joanne) Jardine, Scott (Karla) Jardine, Christopher (Stephanie) Rayworth and Kathleen Rayworth; and her beloved great grandchildren Ben, Abby, Alex, William, Duncan, Colin, baby Jack as well as several nieces and nephews. Her family was indeed the center of her life and she will be dearly missed. Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, William Gordon Rayworth, who passed away Feb. 17, 2007. May they have everlasting peace together. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, and was predeceased by brothers Harris, Barry, Bob, and Ted, and her sister Eleanor.
