Sackville, N.B. – Lawrence R. Wilbur, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, N.B. on October 18, 1952, he was the son of Juanita (Estabrooks) and the late Roy T. Wilbur. Lawrence belonged to the Tantramar Radio Club and enjoyed reading his Bible. He enjoyed life to the fullest and loved his family. Lawrence will be sadly missed by his mother Juanita Wilbur (Alvin Phinney) of Sackville, N.B.; sister Tena Baker of Moncton, N.B.; niece Amy Wood (Russell Munday) of Moncton, N.B.; nephew Ryan Wood of Moncton, N.B.; fiancé Linda Beal of Sackville, N.B. and her children and grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Roy T. Wilbur in 1971 and by his brother Philip in 1980. Arrangements were entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation took place Friday, July 18, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating. A reception was held at the funeral home following the service. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, N.B.
