The death of Rose Marie Cameron occurred at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Thursday, July 12, 2007. Born in 1962, Rose was the daughter of Victor Cameron and the late Marie (nee Lewis) Cameron of Dorchester. Rose was a caregiver, fond of country music, bingo, and spending time in her flower garden in Dorchester. Left to mourn are her father Victor Cameron; sister, Debbie Melanson; brother, Nelson Melanson, common-law husband Jack Snowdon; and several cousins. Besides her mother, Rose was predeceased by her infant sister Sheila. The remains have been cremated under the guidance and care of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville. Visitation was held Monday, July 16, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. with a memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 17, 2007.
