Formerly of Cesis, Latvia. Passed away on September 3, 2008, age 87 years. Predeceased by his sisters: Velta and Mara. Leaving to mourn his wife of 58 years, Sofija; special family members: Martin, Ruta (Juris), Kristine, Peter (Carolyn); special grandchildren: Jason, Traci, Hayley and Chelsea, and close family friends: Ingrid Pardoe and Brenda Burness. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Kennedy and Mrs. Elizabeth Kennedy, the staff at the Health Sciences, South 4A and B and also to the management and wonderful staff of Elizabeth Towers for their care and concern. At Arnis's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service in his memory will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road.
