Stright, Florence Evelyn (Crawford), 87, of Victoria, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008. Born in Sackville, on July 10, 1921, she was married to Edward in 1941. They moved with their only child Ethel to Pictou, N.S., in 1950. Edward passed away Feb. 13, 1983. Florence moved to Victoria, B.C., later that year to live close to her daughter and only grandchild, Stephen. Her greatest joys were talking to family and friends, knitting, and going out for dinner, particularly Chinese food, with her much-loved family, Ethel, Stephen and his fiancé Ikuko Wada. She was a kind, outgoing, joyful person who will be missed greatly. Survived by daughter Ethel Vincent, grandson Stephen Vincent (fiancé Ikuko Wada) and sister-in-law Lily Stright.
