Beatrice Marie Leblanc

It is with extreme sadness that we the family of Beatrice LeBlanc, formerly of Joggins, N.S., announce her sudden death on May 2, 2008 at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto. Born on June 11, 1915, in the Village of Ste. Anne de Kent, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Paulite and Edna (Bergeron)?Maillet. She was predeceased by sisters Leona, Florelle, Amanda; brothers Leo, Alcida, Alcide, Aurele and Alderic. At an early age, she taught herself to play the fiddle and she was a long-time fan of the Montreal Canadians. She is survived by her 'special sister' Loda (Bill)?Bartlett, three daughters,?Simonne and Linda, both of Toronto and Lola (Fred) Roberts of Joggins; two sons, Lawrence (Barbara), Whitby and Edmund, Cold Lake; five grandchildren, Whitney Wilson (Tony) Elaine LeBlanc-Truchan (Jason), Frederick, Patrick and Terry Roberts. A mass of Christian burial was held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Toronto, on May 5, 2005. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at Ste. Anne Cemetery, Ste Anne De Kent, New Brunswick.
