Clyde F. B. King, 86, of Parrsboro passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born at Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Forrest and Bessie (Blenkhorn) King. He was a retired mechanic and heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Gladys Stacey; daughters, Patricia Bodnar (Edwin), Edmonton, AB; Judy Yorke, Vancouver; sons, Ken (Sharon), Hammonds Plains; Bruce (Laurie), Bradford, Ont.; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy, Nita, Flossie, Mildred, Peggy; a brother, Kenny. Visitation 2-3 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2008 at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service followed at 3 p.m., Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
