Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's, in the presence of her family on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, Myrtle Mary Lye of Placentia, age 96. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, her children William, Madonna, Lillian and Juanita and son-in-law William Corrigan. Left with loving memories her sons Greg (Theresa), Gus (Karen), Eugene (Joan) and Leonard (Moira); fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, her sister and best friend Lillian Antle, brothers: Max (Sheila) Whittle, and Tom (Connie) Whittle; sister-in-law Nellie Whittle; brothers-in-law Pat Ennis and Leo Griffiths. A special thank you to those who visited and supported her during her stay at North Pond Home and to the wonderful staff at both North Pond and St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation Thursday, September 11, 2:00-5:00, 7:00-9:00, Friday, September 12, 10:00 to 2:00.
