PARRSBORO - Freda A. Smith, 98, of Parrsboro, Cumberland County passed away Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, New Brunswick. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Burton and Lucy (McKenzie) Smith. She is survived by sisters, Thora, Fall River; Gertrude, Maynard, Mass.; Frances, Toronto; Olive, Oromocto; Enid Morrissey (Robert Buckoski), Parrsboro; a brother, Charles Smith (Carol), Marlboro, Mass.; special niece, Shirley Benjamin, Fall River; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Ellie, Etta; a brother, Victor. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday at the Parrsboro Baptist Church, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
