Georgina L. Newcombe Parrsboro and debert - Georgina L. Newcombe, 81, of Debert, Colchester County, and formerly of Parrsboro passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in London, Ont., she was a daughter of the late George and Mabel (Murdock) Skipper. She is survived by daughters, Charlotte Roberts (Kenneth) Moose River; Sandra McCully (Ronald), Truro; sons, Gary (Dorothy), Yarmouth; Mark, Michael, both of Truro; sister, Winnifred Moore, Mount Denson; a brother, Lawrence Skipper, Windsor; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; sisters, Jean, Ruth, Margaret. Irene; brothers, Edwin, Jack. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service took place 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at St. George's Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Frank Likely officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
