Joseph Skidmore HAMMONDS PLAINS and NEW CANAAN - Joseph H. Skidmore, age 81, of Hammonds Plains, and formerly of New Canaan, passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007 at home. Born in New Canaan, he was a son of the late Harley and Elsie (Walker) Skidmore. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Louise Bezanson; a daughter, Heather Bullerwell (Jim), Hammonds Plains; sons, Randy (Shirley), Truro; Ronnie (Laor 'Nok'), Prince George, B.C.; sisters, Ida Pyke, Springhill; brothers, Alvin (Marion), Burnaby, B.C.; Glennie Beaton, New Canaan; sister-in-law, Pat Skidmore, Burnaby, B.C.; brother-in-law, Arthur Mansfield, California; 12 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Cora; brothers, Frederick, Halton, Marvin. A private family service will be held at the New Canaan Cemetery at a later date.
