Mary Frances Vance JOGGINS - Mary Frances Vance, 67 of Joggins, passed away, May 5, 2007, at the Gables Lodge, Amherst, after a long battle with Parkinsons. Mary was the daughter of Charlotte and the late Andrew Vance. Mary worked a number of years at Moirs, Halifax, and was self-employed as a clam digger for over 30 years. Mary will be sadly missed by her mother, Charlotte (Eagles) Vance, Joggins; two brothers and two sisters, Charlie (Marsha) Vance, Bernie (Bernice) Vance and Violet (Rodger) Vansnick, all of Joggins and Frances Card of River Hebert, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Andy, her father Andrew and a brother Gordon. Mary's remains have been entrusted into the care of the Furlong Jones Funeral Home, Amherst. (667-8777). At the request of the family, a graveside service will be held in the River Hebert Cemetery, Wednesday evening, May 9, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the evening.
