Muriel Janice Morris ELK GROVE, California - It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Muriel Janice Morris, Elk Grove, California, USA, formerly of Spencer's Island. Born on February 4, 1937, she was the eldest daughter of Erma (Cole) Morris and the late William Morris. Besides her mother Erma, she is survived by daughter Glenda (Tim) Resh, Elk Grove, Calif. , and son Robert (Carmen) Gunn, Elk Grove, Calif. Also surviving are her grandchildren Elise and Kyle Resh and Cassandra and Jonah Gunn, and sisters Gerry (Jack) Benteau, Carol (Murray) Bennett, Kathy (Joe) Comeau, brother Gary Morris and sister-in-law Donna Hart, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father William Morris and many aunts and uncles. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service has taken place in Elk Grove, Calif. Her ashes will be brought home at a later date.
